Want to unlock more recipes in SAO Alicization Lycoris? This Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris How To Unlock More Recipes Guide explains the unique crafting mechanics that make up the ability to craft special items from Smithing, Engraving, Alchemy, and Cooking. There are two main methods of crafting in the game, manual and crafting requests.

Crafting Requests allow you to craft items higher than your current level by speaking with the appropriate NPC. This is the same as crafting manually except that it costs you money and the items are slightly weaker than what you can craft yourself. Items can be very expensive, even the lower level ones, so it’s a good idea to invest into manual crafting by unlocking new recipes and crafting them yourself.

How To Unlock More Recipes

Learning recipes is simple but time consuming and expensive. Look at the image above, notice the small pink icons in the crafting window. This is your progress to learning how to master this recipe for yourself. You can see here that I am attempting to craft a Narrow Silver Necklace. It costs 250, a Quartz Shard and 3 Chunks of Snowsilver, all of which are very valuable items. YOu can also see that I am currently sitting on 3 experience for the item, as shown by the arrow.

After crafting the item one more time, the empty box in the upper right corner becomes checked. You will then receive a prompt informing you that you have learned this recipe. Now, when I use an Engraving Station to craft manually, that recipe is available for me to use.

This is how you unlock nearly all of the recipes in the game. This includes vital items such as crafting healing items, better weapons, improved armor. So remember, as you explore, to check all of the different crafting locations you discover – marked by an apron icon on the map.
