A guide on build (CrewChief Tank, CrewChief DPS, Kingpin M1014, Stoic, Hacker Dodge, Hacker LMG, Anarchist LMG, Anarchist Shotgun, Anarchist Sniper, Anarchist Sniper 255 Armorer Sniper, Solo no AI, Stealth) in PAYDAY 2.
Build Guide
Intro
General stuff said through the video
- Quick Fix versus Painkillers. 12:50 Quick fix is better for those dieing more often for faster deploy. -10% for Doctor bags is not worth it in the long run. It doesn’t change breakpoints for armor points and it won’t make a difference in tanking for HP. Painkillers is better for tank setups (Stoic, Armorer, Anarchist, CrewChief), 70 armorer builds, and so on. The res comes with base 86% damage reduction, more with CrewChief bonuses or Frenzy. It can save folks going down immediately after one down, than Quick Fix.
- No Swan Song. Why spend points when you aren’t dieing? If you play for 10 minutes, and die once? It’s not worth the points when you can spend more for actual DPS. Kills with Swan Song is not impressive. Especially with Shotgun/Command spam, etc. I get it, it’s a different play style, but you still need another teammate to pick you up. More points in Crits/utility/damage, means less downs.
- 225 Zeal damage. Have this number on your mind. If you do not have more than 225 armor for CrewChief, Anarchist, Armorer, etc, then you may need to adjust your build or play style. 70 armor is good for Light/Cloaker/Medic/Shield damage breakpoints. This can save your HP incase you get hit with their damage (67.5 iirc) and another hit after that. Also good for Snipers with that added 50 armor on top of Suit 20.
- I do not run Berserker, except solo. Berserker setup mentioned 52:44 for my Anarchist setups. Yes you would do more damage, but I tend to survive more not relying on it, and having HP incase a Sniper gives me some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t. This happens on a daily basis with super aggro/fast AI. Up to you, I recommend to have crits over damage.
- Anarchist armor explanation on my LMG setup. It is always a constant tick timer. Meaning you will get that armor at any given time during that duration when your armor is not full. Suit is 2 seconds, LBV is 3 seconds, and ICTV is 10 seconds. So if you get hit, and have a Suit, it could be 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5 seconds to get that armor back. Once that duration is over, it will be a full 2 seconds and so on. Suit is best for Armor Gating and has saved me A LOT OF RUNS. Another thing with Anarchist is to have jokers. This grants you more HP, which means more armor, and less heat off you and your team.
- Body Expertise on LMGs. LMGs are very high damage, and you can run without BE. I’m not aiming for enemy heads without the 100 accuracy or 100 stability. However, I like to make ammo for myself and team. I don’t have time to wait or aim for heads while the AI goes super-fast. Less time the enemies are alive, the safer you are. If you don’t need it, you can easily adjust those points elsewhere.
- Assault Rifles I don’t have anything super amazing for ARs yet. I will add some later after extensive testing. I don’t think they are in a good state compared to all other weapons (Shotgun/LMG/Sniper) where they have the ability to hard carry kills/team, etc.
