How to Beat Fist Boss

It’s theoretically possible to beat the entire game in one run, but it’s extremely hard to beat the final boss without any remembrances.

I’m actually able to beat the first four bosses before starting my second recollection.

But yeah, as others have said Slam forces the target to face the daughter, changing the direction that it faces. Notably also, the Soulslinger’s Shot ability locks the direction that the target is facing, preventing it from changing it until its next turn, so long as you don’t have a Shieldbearer slam it before then.

Slam makes an enemy to face the Shieldbearer. It’s very useful for landing flanking and backstab attacks. But the enemy does not change it’s target, only it’s facing direction.
