How to Join Faction?
Go to the territory of a faction.
Kill a few bandits.
Talk to the nobels when they ride around.
Sometimes you get the option to join as a mercenary. As a mercenary, you get access to a lot of the nobels and the keep, try to do missions for them and someday such as deliver an important message to x nobel.
And if you can find the kind then do missions for him if he has any and maybe you can at some point when you have enough renown ask to become a vassal and join the kingdom for real.
Renown and Faction
Joining a faction is based on renown. Get enough and you’ll be allowed to talk to the nobles, get some more and they’ll let you join.
If you press N in-game you get an encyclopedia. There you have a “Kingdoms” tab. Click the kingdoms to see their diplomacy.
Where to See Renown to Single Nations?
Renown is global. Influence is tied to faction, however.
It’s in the bottom right corner of your screen. For more information, check the encyclopedia under the article “Renown”
