Grim Clicker – How to Do Fast Runs – Tips

Hi everyone. Today I am gonna mention the newly released Grim Clicker is eye-catching. This guide will show tips for “How to Do Fast Runs”. Before the topic, I want to introduce the game:

Grim Clicker

Grim Clicker is an IDLE/RPG clicker where you will find your own strategy to explore the lost worlds. Inspired by games such as Diablo, Grim Dawn, Dark Souls, etc., the game features a complex character development, many unique items, active and passive playstyle.

Key Features:

  • Skills – A large and clever skill tree provides a lot of ways for character development.
  • Inventory management – You can improve your weapons, enchant them, disassemble them and create new ones. In addition to weapons, there are plenty of other items to help you on your journey.
  • Ritual – If you feel your combination no longer works, perform the ritual and start over. Every time you will become stronger!
  • Idle/Clicker – The character is immortal, so you can safely let him fight on his own, and only manage the general trend. Or, if you like to click, come up with your own strategy in this manner and help the hero on his way to knowledge.
  • Shop – The shop of shards and black wax will offer you improvements that will sharpen your own style and increase the power of your hero.
  • Chests – The rich chests contain masters’ weapons, materials for crafting, potions, pets – in short, everything that the old masters put there. This is your support in the dark world of Grim Clicker!
  • Cosmic Scale – The further you go through the game, the more possibilities you have. The new content implies new game strategies.
  • Sound – Beautiful soundtrack and attention to sound.
  • Mystery – Who are you? Why are you here? Look for the remains of ancient civilizations, travel through the desecrated shards, find allies!

How to Do fast Runs?

Your main tree is Strength. Put the first point in it. then upgrade “Rage of darkness” to at least one. And “Bloodthirst” one skill (this is where we put all our points mainly.

Next two levels you need to take the other two trees. Dex > “Huntsman”. This will give us more butterfly, not must-have but helpful. Wisdom > Bizzard. only one point for blizzard and huntsman. Blizzard here only for one reason, pop up our butterflies and bats. So use it every time its on CD.

The strategy is to kill mobs while your rage is active, as soon as you start to get stuck on mobs without energy, just reset and do some upgrades.

Get Frog

Get the frog passive from Dex, then you can get energy from killing flies, and get more flies, that way you can keep your rage going for much longer even if you can’t kill normal mobs as fast.

Avoid Exp Multiplier

As soon as you have some exp multiplier, you should avoid it. Go 5 strength then buy March level 1 then greed level2.

Next level goes greed level 6 and marches until 36 mins effect. If you have enough exp, go Wisdom 4 for dmg boost. You will 10 times the usual DPS. Less direct burst than your build but way more efficient after 8 mins of march.

March and Rage Build

March build is terrible for farming but good for pushing further.

Rage build is great for farming candles since it always moves at a very fast speed and 1 shot most enemies with the guaranteed crit.

Use Mask of Fire with March build (10x damage), also the summoned weapon should be great for it but requires a high level (not sure how much damage it does, but it should increase the damage by 10x within the first few zones it is up and later).
March build uses 0 energy/mana (other than to activate march and possibly summon the weapon).

Overall:
March build to kill bosses to unlock the free candles since you only need to kill the boss once.
March build to complete the last levels of a shard.
Rage build to farm for candles.

  1. “Avoid Exp Multiplier” should be “Avoid Frog”
The point of this is that when you have enough exp multipliers that you can level up quickly to level 8 or so, you should go for a March build instead of Rage+Frog.

    Strength 5 -> March 1 -> Greed 2 -> Strength 6 -> Mask of Fire -> March 12 (36 minutes)
Getting Mask of Fire in this path only requires 25/3 = 8.33 ~9 levels.

Depending on a few things, you can from here either go for the quicker DPS at Wisdom 4 for the +75% in Magic Amplification, or, if you are farther along, you can push for Strength 11 to get Blacksmith (+100% weapon damage, auto-upgrade weapons). If you take Match 12 first, then you’ll need level 28 to get Blacksmith.
