This guide will help you how to get all 48 achievements (Connor, Kara, Markus and Miscellaneous Achievements) in Detroit: Become Human. All achievements can be earned in at least 2 playthroughs. There will be some severe spoilers that may affect your overall perception of the game and story.

Tips Before You Start
Hello there!
From the beginning I want to point out that I recommend playing the game first time without plans of maxing the achievements and tryharding because the game and the plot included in it is incredibly vast and good and it can shock the player even in 10th playthrough.
Many achievements are related to specific chapters, which can be easily replayed, with options of not saving decissions affecting the rest of the story, what makes getting the achievements much much easier. Achievements are unlocked only after finishing a chapter, not after performing a specific action required to get it.
Connor’s Achievements
Connor saved Emma.
Achievement to get in the first chapter THE HOSTAGE and it’s not very hard. Before we confront Daniel, on the roof, it’s worth to check all traces inside the house. While negotiating with Daniel, try to use most peacefull options and lower his stress level, which will result in Emma’s safety.
Connor found the deviant in the attic.
Unlocked in chapter PARTNERS if you checked all 10 trails in the crime scene. It’s not that difficult, because you can see them all in the Mind Pallace. After investigating all 10 trails, you must talk with Hank and reconstruct what happened. Then, you must follow blue tyrium trails to the attic.
If you will spend too much time on the crime scene without making any progress, Hank will decide to leave.
Connor made the android confess.
Popped after completing chaptter THE INTERROGATION, if you succeed in making the captured deviant talk. As the game tolds us, to succeed, you must maintain his stress level on optimal level, which means, you must alternatively pick stressful and reassuring dialogue options, so that, our plastic friend’s, stress level will be coloured blue. If you do that, the deviant will spill the beans.
Connor found all the clues about Hank.
Unloced in chapter WAITING FOR HANK. When arrived on police station, find Hank’s desk and interact with it. Achievement will pop after checking all 8 clues.
Connor caught up with Rupert. / Connor saved Hank.
In chapter THE NEST while investigating Rupert’s joint, we must examine all the leads and reconstruct events, which will show us that Rupert is hiding in the attic. Upon finding Rupert’s location, what follows is a chase squence with a good amount of QTE’s. Chosen chasing paths doesn’t really matter, but it’s important to do the QTE’s right. In the end you will face decision if you should save Hank, or follow Rupert. Gained achievement depends on made decision.
The Tracis were killed. / The Tracis escaped.
In chapter EDEN CLUB again, we must investigate the crime scene and examine what happened while using recorded android vision. Following the trails, we find our way to event. On the floor we can see tyrium trail, which followed, leads us to the group of standing androids. Upon examining them another fight emerges with a lot of QTE seqences. In the end you will have to make a choice regarding killing the deviants, or sparing them. Gained achievement depends on your choice.
Hank killed Connor.
One of most depresso achievements. Unlockable in chapter THE BRIDGE, on condition that you have hostile relations with Hank (spilled his drink. followed Rupert, killed Tracis)
To get this you must use dialogue options as followed:
- 1. Personal question
- 2. Photo / Suicide
- 3. Stop drinking
- 4. Software
- 5. Cold
- 6. Cold
- 7. Cold
- 8. Not alive
- 9. Nothing
Connor connected to Simon.
Unlocked in chapter PUBLIC ENEMY, only if in chapter THE STRATFORD TOWER, as Markus, you spared the guy who was escaping the studio, or assault the cops and decided to left Simon on the roof without killing him. As Connor, investigate the studio and go to the roof and examine the tyrium trails which leads to the hiding deviant. Upon finding him, you will have to pass the QTE sequence and choose the option to chase him. Unfortunatley Simon will die in the process.
Connor killed Chloe. Connor refused to kill Chloe.
Chapter MEET KAMSKI gives us a choice to shoot or spare the android Chloe. Unlocked achievement depends on your choice.
Connor got the location of Jericho by himself.
To unlock in chapter LAST CHANCE CONNOR. To get to this chapter we must spare Chloe, or shoot her and ask Kamski about rA9. In the evidence room, we must guess Hank’s password (♥♥♥♥ING PASSWORD duh) and examine the evidence. It all depends on decisions you made in previous chapters. The location of Jericho can be acquired from Simon, or the deviant from studios kitchen. Gather the needed compients from and copy Markus voice, while talking to one of them.
Connor converted the androids.
Earned in chapter BATTLE FOR DETROIT only if Connor is a deviant. Hack the camera in the elevator and then mimic the voice of one of the guards to get on lower leves, where androids are stored. There, you will fight another model of Connor and be faced with a quiz from Hank. Hank will ask about his dog’s name (Sumo) and lastly about his son’s name (Cole). After answering correctly, you will be able to convert the plastic dudes.
Connor killed the leader of the deviants.
Now, I don’t know why, but I unlocked it only in the final Markus speech, where Connor will be hacked by Amanda. To get the achievement just walk around in the blizzard and don’t interract with anything.
Connor’s Achievements pt. 2“MY TURN TO DECIDE”
Connor resisted hacking attempt from CyberLife.
Another achievement to get in BATTLE FOR DETROIT chapter. To get this we must resist the hacking attempt by Amanda. In the blizzard use your Mind Pallace to see the location of a blue stone, which is your way out.
Connor stayed a machine. / Connor became deviant.
In chapter CROSSROADS we will face the decision of becoming a devinat, during a conversation with Markus. The option of becoming a deviant is unlocked only, if during your playthrugh, you were acting against Connor’s programme.
Hank and Connor were friends until the end.
To earn this you must maintain friendly relations with Hank, during your playthrough(save him on the roof, be nice to him, don’t kill Tracis and Chloe and don’t die on your own). To unlock Connor must become a deviant. Thanks to this we will get a lovely scene after the credits.
Connor died and returned at every opportunity before reaching the end.
Now this is the most depresso achievement to get in entire game. It requires a whole new playthrough, strictly focused on killing Connor in every occasion.
Possible deaths:
1. First chapter THE HOSTAGE. We must be killed by Daniel. The easiest way is to find a gun inside the house, lied to Daniel about having it and then threaten him with it.
2. Chapter THE INTERROGATION. While interrogating the deviant, we must choose the option of probing his memory. The deviant will lose his ♥♥♥♥ and Connor will get a cop in the ♥♥♥.
3. Chapter ON THE RUN. Chase Kara to the highway. Upon getting on the highway don’t do any QTE’s as Connor and the result will be him being hit by a car.
4. THE NEST Chasing Rupert, there will be a moment where you will be sliding on the glass and jumping to the window. Ignore the QTE and you will get dnother death.
5. THE BRIDGE while getting “JUST A MACHINE” achievement.
6. PUBLIC ENEMY chapter. Go to the kitcher and interrogate the androids. The one on the left is the deviant. ♥♥♥♥ him off and there will be a fight, during which Connor will be injured. Don’t do anything and bam – Conur ded.
7. LAST CHANCE COONOR. In the evidence room find location of Jericho and then Gavin will arrive. Don’t do QTE’s. Gavin busts a nut a Conner ded.
8. THE CROSSROADS. Stay a machine during talking with Markus. Later on we will be talking with a soldier that stopped Connor. Choose Fight and loose QTE’s.
9. BATTLE FOR DETROIT. On the roof you will be visited by Hank or Allen. Start a fight and loose QTE’s.
10. BATTLE FOR DETROIT. Finally a last one from this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ achievement. Depends on who is the leader of the revolution. If Markus you will have to beat Connor’s ♥♥♥ in a fight. If North is the leader, there will be a scene where Connor finds her in a shop. There will be a choice to shoot her or spare her. Choose nothing and get your head blasted.
Kara’s Achievements“SECRETS”
Kara discovered the content of Alice’s box.
In chapter A NEW HOME you will be cleaning Todd’s house. Clean downstairs and then head to the 1st flood. Go to Alice room and talk to her. Use the dialogue options and then she will run away, leaving you the key behind. The box is in front of Alice’s tent.
Kara and Alice escaped Todd’s House.
In the end of the chapter A NEW HOME, Todd will order you to not move. ♥♥♥♥ on it and go upstairs to find Alice. You will fight Todd and pass the QTE’s. You can take a gun from Tod’s room but as a resault, Todd will die.
Kara and Alice slept in the motel or the squat.
Chapter FUGITIVES will give you a choice where to spend the night. There will be three possible options: parking lot, hobo’s den (aka. squat) and a motel. Choose one from the last two and you will get an achievement.
Kara and Alice escaped the police.
In chapter ON THE RUN, if Kara will be spot by Connor, he will chase her. Get on the highway and pass all the QTE’s.
Kara and Alice escaped Zlatko’s house.
Achievement from chapter ZLATKO. As Kara you will be connected with a device, on purpose to get you reset. You will have a chance to free yourself. Interract with a green cable and kick a lamp on your left. Going through the cellar, free the damaged androids (possible if you look at the door earlier, while walking with Alice). When you get on the 1st floor go to the room on your right and free a robobear. In order to get to Alice go to the last room on the left. Then there will be a hiding sequence. If you will be seen just pass all QTE’s and escape through the back door.
Alice enjoyed a ride on the merry-go-round.
To earn in chapter THE PIRATE’S COVE. You don’t have to make any choices to get this.
Kara succeeded to make the cop go away.
In chapter MIDNIGHT TRAIN a #bluelives supporter invades. To get this you must do as following:
- 1. Send Luther and Alice upstairs or to the washing room.
- 2. Hide an androids uniform laying on the cupboard.
- 3. Close the door to the cabinet with tyrium.
- 4. There’s a magazine on the kitchen table. Switch the articles to the one about 3rd World War.
- 5. When asked about who else is in the house, say ALICE.
- 6. When asked about other androids, say NO.
- 7. When the police starts talking to Adam, say TIRED.
- 8. When asked about the noise from the laundry, say WASHING MACHINE.
Kara and Alice passed the border.
You must catch the bus to the border. Keep the tickets. On the border you can sacrifice Luther or Jerry. If you are playing a peacfull path as Markus, you don’t have to sacrifice anyone.
Kara and Alice escaped the recycling center.
To get there, first you must be caught by soldiers in chapter THE CROSSROADS. You must surrender and obey their orders and you will be transported to the recycling centre. Depends on your preavious choices, you will have to sacrifice one of the characters. It could be Ralph(if you spend a night in squat), Jerry, Luther and one of the androids from Zlatko’s cellar (if you saved them). When escaping you will be stopped by a soldier. Choose PROTECT ALICE and pass the QTE’s, to beat his ♥♥♥ and escape.
Kara, Alice, Luther are together at the end.
Earned in the end of the game and it’s a summary of all our choices as Kara.
To get this you must:
- 1. Accept Luthers companionship.
- 2. Get the policeman out from Rose’s house.
- 3. Save Luther in THE CORSSROADS and pretend to be dead before the soldiers.
- 4, Don’t turn the Alice’s Feeling Cold module.
- 5. Calm Luther down when going through the soldiers spot.
- 6. Keep the tickets to the bus.
- 7. On the border sacrifice Jerry, or as Markus chose the demonstration, instead of revolution.
Markus Achievements
“SELF-CONTROL” / “DEFEND YOURSELF”
Markus let Leo win. / Markus pushed Leo.
Very easy achievement to get. At the end of chapter BROKEN you must make a choice regarding Leo. Earned achievement depend on your decision.
Markus got enough parts.
In chapter SPARE PARTS, as Markus, we will have to steal from a CyberLife warehouse. While looting the crates with tyrium, we will run across a working android, wchich we will have to grab and hide with him, in order to lose the guards. He will then ask us for the possibility to join us. Agree and you will get additional info about more parts. Just sneak to the guarding post and cut the electricity out. Then steal the card and get back to yout homies and escape.
Markus broadcasted his message without raising an alarm or having a team casualty.
In chapter STRATFORD TOWER we must lock the door behind us, with North, i server room and when we will get to the studio floor, choose to Ruse the guards. After geting into the studio room, shoot the escaping journalist. Record your manifesto and jump from the roof.
“SEND A MESSAGE” / “BURN THE PLACE”
Markus conducted a pacifist riot. / Markus conducted a violent riot.
In chapter CAPITOL PARK after freeing the androids from the store, we will face a decision about the way we want to conduct the riot. Simply interact with the surroundings and choose to destroy it or hack/leave grafitti. Unlocked achievement depends on our choice.
“CONFRONTATION” / “STAND YOUR GROUND”
Markus attacked the police. / Markus stood his ground against the police.
Another achievement, dependable on our choice, in a specific chapter. In the ending of the chapter FREEDOM MARCH, the march is stopped by da poliss. You have to choices. You can show the police another Minneapolis and rekt them, or decide to stand your ground. The first option doesn’t involve any preavious in-game choices, although the second one involve recruting the android from THE SPARE PARTS chapter. If we recruited him, he will save us and if not, Simon will but he will die in the process.
“MORAL VICTORY” / “LIBERATION”
Markus succeeded in making the soldiers stand back. / Markus reached the camp and liberated the androids
The last two achievements to earn as Markus. We can earn them in chapter BATTLE FOR DETROIT. The one we unlock depends on the choice we made in chapter NIGHT OF THE SOUL. It all boils down to deciding if we fight for our freedom with force or march peacefully towards the soldier camps.
To achieve LIBERATION we must decide to conduct a revolurion, which will result in totally crazy and badass series of QTE sequences, in which we will need to get to the last barricade alive. To do this aim at the soldiers located at towers and often cover yourself with cover fire from supporting androids. Upon reaching the minigun, order two closest gropus to charge and the one on the back to cover them. Next will be the last QTE to complete.
To achieve “MORAL VICTORY” we must conduct a peacfull demonstration. In that case we must make choices, that will make a positive impact on public opinion, early on(don’t kill humans, don’t destroy the park). Later we will be pushed to the wall by soldiers where we must choose to Kiss North (if we romance her), or Sing a Song. It doesn’t matter which one did we choose, the outcome will be the same – peace.
Miscellaneous Achievements
Play the first chapter.
Welp, nothing more to say.
Markus or Connor detonated the freighter.
Chapter CROSSROADS and another achievement hidden in it. Easiest way to obtain is to make Connor a deviant and as Markus get to the lower deck and complete the QTE’s.
Bring the three characters to Crossroads..
Earned in CROSSROADS if Markus, Kara and Connor are alive and Connor located Jericho.
“UNDEFEATED”
Don’t lose any fight before reaching the end.
Well this requires some amount of efficiency in doing QTE’s, but to completley loose the fight you must screw up all QTE’s, which alone could be an achievement. Jokes aside, this is very easy, so you don’t have to worry about your reflex.
“BOOKWORM”
Find every single magazine in the game.
Well this is not hard, but for sure time consumeing. This requires at least two playthrough. There are overall 46 articles to read. Magazines are almost in verey chapter and usually, are placed in easy to see locations. For making sure and for your comfort. I’ll allow myself to link you that video with locations of all magazines.

“SURVIVORS”
Everyone is alive at the end.
Achievement that warms the heart and guarantees a quick end of depression after I’LL BE BACK achievement. To get this Markus, North, Josh, Simon, Kara, Alice, Luther, Connor and Hank must be alive at the end (there is a chance that Chloe and Jerry must be alive as well but I didn’t check).
“THIS IS MY STORY”
Finish the game.
Unmissable. Pops right after the credits, regardless of our choices.
“THIS IS OUR STORIES”
Spend 20,000 bonus points.
Unlocking every new path in the games story you earn bonus points, which we can spend in the section EXTRAS in the main menu. We can spend it on concept arts, short movies that show behind the scenes of the game, and soundtrack. There is also a gallery od characters. Pretty cool stuff to see. I recommend giving it a look.
